Today is International Women's Day, and I can't think of a more appropriate time to publish my website, She Dreams. She Dreams is dedicated to every disadvantaged girl needing the power of education. Through my posts, I hope to encourage each of us, those who "have" to help those girls, who "have not".

#Metoo brought women's struggles out of the shadows. Now, women everywhere can use this momentum to openly speak about issues that have been neglected.

Today, I salute the women in my life - my mother, my grandmothers, my aunts and my cousins for fiercely pursuing education for themselves and their families. One of my grandmas was married early but showed the resolve to continue to stay in college after marriage, even as she raised her children. Her father-in-law, my great grandfather, and her husband, my grandfather, supported her as she obtained a Masters degree. She had the resolve, still, without her husband and father-in-law's support she may not have fulfilled her desire. That's where we become useful.

Right now, I am raising money for organizations that bring education to girls everywhere. So do visit my store and shop. Feel free to donate directly to the organizations that I blog about. I also encourage people to connect with others in their community and speak out about ideas to bring education to all girls. If you have a story or an idea, do share; I would love to hear!
